Google is looking for movie and television scripts that help portray computer science (and the traditional “nerdy” computer scientist stereotype) in a more positive, attractive light.  With this initiative, Google is looking to attract underrepresented groups like women and minorities into the computer science field.

This project is part of an initiative from Google’s Computer Science Education in Media program to encourage and inspire young people, especially girls and minorities — who historically have been underrepresented in the field — to not only use technology but also to create it.
