“What do you do?”  A seemingly innocuous question people ask when trying to make conversation.

But how do you explain what you do in a succinct and easily understood way?

Trying to explain what I do as an instructional designer and the value I bring to both faculty and students is not easy to explain, whether to the university administration, or family and friends during the holidays.  So, here are two testimonials from faculty who can hopefully explain this better than I can.
